Cowling’s Caribbean Gala
Levi is used to travelling away from home, and jumped at the chance of celebrating Caribbean culture in the unlikely setting of North Yorkshire village, Cowling. Levi gave the local youngsters a flavour of Reggae music leading a rendition of the Reggae Reggae Sauce song.

Opening of Hameldon Community College’s IBFM Radio, 96.6 FM
Levi’s passion for music is well known and he was keen to use his influence to promote music to the next generation of musicians. Levi helped the Burnley school launch what is believed to be the country’s biggest school radio station.

South Norwood and Stanley Technical High School for Boys
Levi gave the pupils of South Norwood Secondary a taste of what it is like to get a successful business off the ground. South Norwood District Manager Nadia Jones said “this visit will hopefully inspire the boys, and spur existing businesses and potential entrepreneurs to continue pursuing their business goals.”

Visit to Chilli Chutney in Streatham for the Greater London Enterprise’s Networking Event
Levi visited the restaurant in The High Parade with the aim of bringing experts and entrepreneurs together. The free event was provided as part of the London Development Agency Business London Start Up and Micro Business Support Programme, open to businesses based in Lambeth, Southwark and Wandsworth.

Lambeth College’s Centre of Vocational Excellence Dragon’s Den Competition
Levi experienced a role reversal when he became one of the Dragons on the judging panel for the competition featuring two teams of innovative students.

Enterprising Britain Campaign
Along with Peter Jones, Levi helped to support the success of the Croydon Enterprise programme, which provides advice and support to budding entrepreneurs, as well as helping existing businesses to grow and develop. Levi has personally benefited from the service provided by The Croydon Enterprise programme and is a frequent visitor to the borough. The Croydon Enterprise programme is in the running to be judged ‘the most enterprising place in Britain’.

The Reggae Reggae Sauce Launch Party at Lambeth Town Hall
Mixing together the world of business, media and entertainment, Levi Roots celebrated his success on Dragon’s Den by organising the Reggae Reggae Sauce Launch Party on the 20th April 2007. Levi sang his famous Reggae Reggae Sauce song backed by the Dub Asante Band. The launch night also featured support from artists such as Sugar Dread, Blacker Dread, Mikey Foreigner, Gammo Speng, Tony B to name but a few.
